We all carry unwell ancestry. 

Unless your lineage is unbroken (rare in the Western world), it's likely shaped by trauma, limiting beliefs, and inherited pain.

Suraya and Sha-Ola Alkebulan are medicine people and devoted guides who hold sacred ceremony as a path to ancestral healing. Their life’s work is to help people remember who they are, where they come from, and why they came. Through both in-person and online offerings, they walk beside others in uncovering, healing, and reclaiming the power and wisdom of their lineage—not just for personal transformation, but as a gift to future generations.

Sha-Ola is also a singer-songwriter, weaving the voices of his ancestors into his music, creating soundscapes that awaken memory and reverence.

Suraya also works with Grandmother Medicine to support Leaders of Work through Shamanic Business Support, blending the sacred with the practical in powerful, rooted ways. She has over a decade of experience in supporting CEOs to create businesses that are as nourishing to them as they are to the people they serve.

Married for 15 years, they live on the land in Devon, UK, alongside their two golden retrievers, and continue to live their practice as a devotion to Earth, Spirit, and the ones who came before.

It’s hard to put into words fully the work that Suraya and Sha-Ola do because I feel it deeply in my soul.

The shifts I am experiencing and continue to see are changing my life right before my eyes.

I have been working with them since last year and  ancestral ceremonies are ongoing. I have full trust in the way they hold space and honour the sacred nature of the gifts they hold.


Before I started on my journey with ancestral work I felt stuck and blocked. I had done a large amount of inner work and whilst I could see changes in myself, the final piece was missing and I was still experiencing at times crippling self doubt. Step 1

We begin with a Zoom call to connect with you directly, understand what you’re facing in your life and share how our process works.

Step 2

  • Following this, with your consent, we enter into a 5-hour sacred ceremony held remotely on your behalf. You don’t need to be present—just open and willing. During this ceremony, we work with your energy field, your intention, the Grandmother spirit, your ancestors, and our spiritual allies to:

  • Tune into your ancestral field to gain clarity on what’s unfolding and why

  • Clear any energetic blocks and ancestral curses/trauma we’re granted permission to release, with Grandmother’s authority

  • Commune with your well ancestors to receive truth, healing and clarity

From this, we channel a recorded transmission specifically for you—rich with ancestral codes, insights, and guidance to support your next steps.

Step 3:

After the ceremony, we meet again via Zoom to share everything that came through. You can choose to take this wisdom and integrate it on your own, or continue journeying with us for deeper support and embodiment (see below for continued support).

  • No. Even if you’re disconnected from your lineage or don’t know your family story, the energy still lives in your system. We work with what’s present in your field and are connecting to your lineage through our support team—not just historical data.

    Whether you do or don’t know your biological parents (i.e. are adopted), your energy reveals everything we need to connect to your ancestry. We are working in the spirit world and that trascends physical limitations.
